This spring, Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW) will return for its eleventh edition, taking over London’s most creative district from 24th-26th.May. Since it made its debut in 2009, CDW has become one of the UK’s leading independent design festivals, providing a welcome platform for brands to highlight their products, and for the 100+ resident showrooms to open their doors to new audiences. Gradus SureProtect Design SPD20 PVC-u sheet provides a modern and stylish wallcovering combined with excellent surface protection. It is offered in a range of wood and metal finishes in addition to the option of a bespoke printed finish. These finishes can be used to create stimulating and inspiring interiors and are ideal for use in a wide range of environments where design is key to aesthetics, but a level of protection is still required, for example, leisure, hospitality, and commercial office applications.

SureProtect Design can work as a stand-alone product or with the Gradus range of PVC-u wall protection profiles to offer a complete product solution. It is 1mm thick, easy to clean and provides a cost-effective way to reduce maintenance costs and maintain the appearance of a building. It features a textured surface to conceal the effects of impact and abrasion. The event will present Gerflor with the perfect platform to showcase their new Taralay Premium collection being launched in June 2018, plus their International Design Award-winning Taralay Impression and Uni ranges. The event will see Gerflor herald a re-vamp of their hugely successful Taralay Premium collection. An incredibly hardwearing and colourful flooring range for a host of creative spaces.  Ideal for bearing static and moving loads, the additions to the collection will see 18 new colours being added to their best-selling Taralay Premium ranges, together with 2 new designs Poesy & Neopolis inspired by the TERRAZZO effect offering designers an added spectrum of choices and effects.

The International Design Awards (IDA) fundamentally exists to recognise, rejoice and promote legendary design visionaries. Therefore, it’s no surprise that Gerflor’s Taralay Impression vinyl floorcovering collection scooped a bronze award. The current Taralay Impression range including their acoustically sensitive Taralay Uni Comfort collection displays a wide palette of 21 designs and 83 colours. With more than 17,000 entries each year The Red Dot Award is one of the best-respected design competitions in the world.
