Texline also benefits from Gerflor’s unique construction combination of a compact interlayer and patented GFT textile backing, which enables up to 35 m2 adhesive-free fitting directly over concrete with little subfloor preparation and without applying ply or screed to the floor. It also remains flat and automatically compensates for minor irregularities beneath for an improved overall finish.
In addition, Texline is waterproof from above and below and tolerant of 90% RH allowing it to be installed where new subfloors are not yet fully dry or damp conditions. It also encompasses technology that helps reduce common post-installation issues such as curling, lifting and bubbling, thereby lowering remedial work for repair.
Both house builders and homeowners can also be reassured by Texline’s eco credentials: it is 100% recyclable, made using environmentally-friendly materials and processes to the highest international standards and contains 97% recycled fibres in its GFT backing system, which is made using recycled plastic bottles.
