Gerflor’s new Taraflex® is an eco-designed flooring solution that reduces carbon emissions without compromising on its technical performance. In addition to delivering the highest quality, Gerflor is committed to sustainability and responsible resource management. By 2025, Gerflor aims to achieve a number of environmental targets which includes a 20% reduction in its carbon footprint, together with delivering 10% bio-based content with 30% of their products made of recycled content. The overall aim is to also enable 35% of future installations to be loose laid. This initiative will be bolstered by delivering 60,000 tons of annual recycling coupled with 81% of their products made of bio-content, mineral and recycled material. It’s a bold eco-move to make Gerflor the real champions in sustainability.
